The London office was first established in 1987 and Wikborg Rein today is staffed by a team of both Norwegian and English lawyers working to service the needs of the firm’s Norwegian and international clientele as well as the London market.

While the Norwegian law team undertakes work in most fields of business law, there is an emphasis on shipping, including litigation and arbitration, ship finance, sale and purchase of vessels, ship registration, company and securities law, mergers and acquisition.

The three-partner English law team has extensive knowledge and experience of the shipping and offshore markets and provides a wide range of advisory and dispute resolution services, including admiralty and commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation. It is the centre of the firm’s growing international English law service, liaising with Norway and the offices in Singapore, Shanghai and Kobe.
