The Real Estate and construction group provides legal advice to domestic and foreign clients operating in the Norwegian market. Our real estate lawyers work on matters in both the public and private sectors, and always with a focus on giving the most precise and timely advice.

Real Estate and Construction is a major Industry group of Wikborg Rein, which employs approximately 15 lawyers. The lawyers primarily work with acquisition and disposal of properties and development, and construction transactions. The members of the group have top competence on all aspects of acquisition and disposal of properties (purchase, sale, merging, demerging, restructuring etc.), structure alternatives, tax and duties, tenancy rights, plan and building legislation, property law, syndication, financial regulatory issues and financing.

Wikborg Rein has been involved in several of the largest acquisitions and disposals of properties and restructuring of property portfolios which have been carried out in Norway the last years, hereunder in connection with DnB NOR's sale of the greater part of the company's property portfolio at a total value of NOK 5 billion. The Group has been involved in establishing and developing several real estate funds with investment focus both in Norway and abroad.

Erlend W. Holstrøm is the head of the Industry Group and is reponsible for the firms business related to building and construction contractual work. Line Ravlo-Losvik is the deputy head of the Industry Group and is reponsible for the firms business in relation to acquisition and disposal of contractual properties.
