Shipping Offshore seminar: Has the world changed? (Singapore, 6 October 2010)

The Deepwater Horizon casualty that occurred on 22 April 2010 caught the shipping and offshore community like a tsunami. In the aftermath, questions have been raised as to what impact it may have on the offshore industry and the marine industry that supports it.

Will there be a need to re-evaluate the risks within offshore contracts; will greater regulation mean that there needs to be more effective management of risks in offshore projects; who would be liable for pollution damage; would the liability be covered by insurance; and would it be possible to commence recourse actions toward contracting parties? The aim of this seminar is to provide an understanding of these and other related questions.

Kindly register your attendance by sending an e-mail to SingaporeEvent@wr.no by 30 September.
