Kevin D. Futch

Kevin D. Futch is an Associate at Wikborg Rein's Singapore office and is part of the firm's Energy and Natural Resources group.

Futch has spent one year in Malaysia as part of the Wikborg Rein Global Projects Team. Before joining Wikborg Rein, Kevin worked for a civil litigation firm in the Washington, D.C. area.

Relevant experience:

Power Purchase Agreements

• Negotiations of long-term power purchase agreements with over 20 different project sponsors, including major steel, silicon, and solar-related off-takers,

• Government-to-government negotiations of cross-border transmission and power exchange arrangements between Malaysia and neighboring states, and

• Negotiation of a 2400 MW power purchase agreement for the largest hydroelectric plant in Southeast Asia.

Also, served as general counsel to state-owned utility for the negotiation of consulting services, compliance with corporate governance policies, and settlement of construction contract disputes.
