Haakon Blaauw

Haakon Blaauw is a partner based in the firm's Bergen office.  In 1978 he was transferred from the firm's Oslo office to participate in the establishing of the Bergen office. He is mainly dealing with legal issues for larger financial institutions, suppliers to the offshore industry, and other actors in cross border activity. He has participated in considerable restructurings within Norwegian commercial life, and has broad experience from litigation before Norwegian courts of law, and in arbitrations both in Norway and abroad. Blaauw was in 2009 recommended by Chambers and Partners as "Leaders in their field" in the  category Dispute resolution.

Blaauw was part of establishing Wikborg Rein's office in Bergen back in 1978. He was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 1992.
