Lars Inge Ørstavik

Lars Inge Ørstavik is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's Bergen office and is part of the firm's Shipping Offshore group. His main areas of practice are matters relating to shipping and maritime law, contract law, manufacturing/enterprise law and marine insurance. He advises ship owners, shipyards and underwriters, particularly in issues related to contracts for the building, conversion and maintenance of ships in addition to matters relating to management and operation of ships. Ørstavik is experienced in casualty work and compensation law and assists P&I clubs, hull underwriters and ship owners on these matters. He also has broad experience from dispute resolution and litigation work before Norwegian courts and in arbitrations.
