Clara Tan

Clara Tan is a Director in Pan Asia Wikborg Rein LLC in Singapore. She is dual qualified and practices both as an English Solicitor and an Advocate & Solicitor with right of audience before the Singapore Court. She started her legal career at a leading litigation law firm in Singapore, then practiced as a solicitor in London before returning to Singapore. 

Tan acts for a wide range of clients in the oil and gas, shipping and trade industries. Her oil and gas practice includes negotiating, drafting and review of contracts for offshore contractors, operators, charterers and shipyards. Her shipping practice encompasses advising shipowners, charterers, their clubs, banks and shipyards in relation to charterparties, bills of lading, sale and purchase, ship construction/ conversion, marine casualties, arrests, obtaining security and enforcement actions. She also acts for traders covering a wide range of commodities including oil, coal, LPG and LNG. 

Tan regularly represents clients in international arbitrations (e.g. ICC, LCIA, LMAA, SIAC, SCMA, KLRCA) and litigation involving complex technical issues. She is recommended by Chambers Asia and Legal 500.
