Martine Cedergren Dysvik
Martine Cedergren Dysvik is a Senior Associate at Wikborg Rein's Singapore office and is part of the firm's Shipping Offshore Group.
Dysvik focuses on maritime law, maritime insurance law, as well as contract law for a wide range of shipping and offshore clients. Her main area of practice lies within the offshore sector and oil service contracts, including floating production (FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs, FSRUs), and drilling units, where she advice clients on key issues such as:
- Tender risk assessments
- Review of operational lease, charter parties, services contracts, and construction and conversion contracts
- Structuring and planning of investments and projects, including advice on local restrictions
- Local content requirements, such as compulsory use of local company structures, flagging, labour and insurance
- Agency agreements
During the period 2007-2009, Dysvik was selected to attend a two-year trainee programme (Maritime Trainee) managed by the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, which included an academic programme of 35 days concerning management, finance and technical aspects of the maritime and offshore industries.

Relevant experience:
- Advised and negotiated a USD 890 mill FPSO charter contract for BW Offshore in Indonesia, assisting in the structuring and risk assessment, negotiations and finalizing the deal in Jakarta
- Assisted Floatel Reliance Ltd and Floatel Superior Ltd during the construction phase and in the delivery of two semisubmersible accommodation vessels.
- Assisted in relation to conversion and installation of the first FPSO in the Gulf of Mexico (Chinook and Cascade fields)
- Assisted Skeie Drilling & Production/Rowan Drilling in the contract drafting, bank and bond loan financing as well as listing preparations in relation to their three USD KFELS N-Class Jack-up Units with USD 1,600 million total capex and funding requirement
- Advised in relation to various FPSO, FSO and FSRU tenders for projects in the UK, NCS, US Gulf, Brazil, West Africa, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia
