The insurance law practise group handles all questions concerning insurance law. Since the establishment of Wikborg Rein in 1923, insurance law has been an important practice area. Our insurance lawyers have a substantial litigation experience from the ordinary courts and arbitration. Several of our lawyers have been and are involved in the preparation of insurance terms, and some are authors of textbooks in the area.

Wikborg Rein receives instructions from all parts of the insurance community relating to claims handling and insurance products. Wikborg Rein is a renowned marine insurance specialist and advice on hull, freight, cargo, mortgagee interest, builder’s risk and war. Within the non-marine field we handle property insurance, liability and professional liability, life insurance, accident and medical insurance.
