Labour Legislation

Our activities in the field of labour legislation relate both to the establishment, reorganisation and closing of business enterprises. We assist in connection with the entering into of contracts and in relation to various questions arising in employment relationships. Wikborg Rein has been involved in preparing and carrying through mass redundancies in a number of companies relating to the rationalisation and scaling down of businesses. However, we also advise on individual dismissals and are often instructed in cases before the Norwegian courts. Although we mostly represent the employer's side, we also take on instructions from individual employees.
