  Wikborg Rein's Real Estate group operates at the forefront of the Norwegian real estate market with advice and assistance to commercial and residential estate agents. The legal assistance provided includes structuring and drafting of prospectuses, assistance in sale and purchase negotiations, drafting of documents (both standard contracts and contracts adapted to more specific transactions), general legal advice in relation to disputes, lawsuits and the legal developments in this area of the law. Our team also includes members with the finance and tax experience required when structuring complex transactions.
  
  Private Market Participants
  Our real estate lawyers assist all categories of private clients operating in the real estate market including real estate management companies, individual managers, investors, private individuals, contractors and builders, and both purchasers and sellers.
  
  The group offers legal advice in relation to the structuring of property portfolios with an emphasis on company structures (including the legal positions in relation to tax and VAT).

In addition to the areas outlined above, our advice to public sector clients also concerns relevant regulatory frameworks, such as EU and competition law.
  
  Development and Construction Law
  Our real estate lawyers also advise builders and contractors in traditional development transactions. The legal assistance includes, providing legal assistance in relation to tenders, negotiating contracts, and the performance of the contract and settlements under the contracts. The members of the group regularly appear in court and arbitration on matters related to construction contracts.
