Seminar: Project Financing Wind Projects in Norway (Bergen, April 5th 2011)

While other North Atlantic countries have successfully attracted investment in both offshore and onshore wind power generation projects through the adoption of feed-in tariffs, market-based certificates and other subsidization schemes, Norway has seen relatively little investment in the wind sector to date due largely to the absence of an effective subsidization scheme. The recent regulatory initiative to put in place a common green certificate market across Norway and Sweden raises the prospect that project sponsors in Norway may soon see a more positive investment climate for their wind projects.

On April 5th in Bergen and on April 11th in Oslo, Wikborg Rein will host a seminar that gathers a panel of speakers who will review the main construction, regulatory, operation and other issues confronting project sponsors in Norway who wish to develop their wind projects in a manner that will attract non (or limited) recourse debt financing.

Register your attendance in the form below, or e-mail hki@wr.no. There is no cost attached with participation in the seminar.
