Marie Efpraxiadis

Marie Efpraxiadis is Senior Associate at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and is part of the firm's Banking Finance group.

Efpraxiadis works primarily with international asset and project finance. She has extensive experience in the shipping/offshore sector, acting for owners and banks on a wide array of transactions including syndicated loan financing, sale-leaseback arrangements, construction/conversion projects and operating contracts. She is also active in the area of development finance, advising financial institutions on development-oriented lending and equity investments in Africa and Southeast Asia.

Efpraxiadis joined Wikborg Rein in 1995. She has also worked for several years as in-house counsel for an FPSO company in Switzerland and for a multinational shipping and engineering group in Geneva and Athens. During her time as in-house counsel she worked extensively with mega-yacht projects, including sale and purchase, construction, engineering, and chartering. 

Efpraxiadis is an English solicitor and a New York attorney-at-law. She speaks English, Greek, French and Norwegian.
