Ingeborg V. Aavatsmark: New Partner in Oslo

We are very pleased to announce that Ingeborg V. Aavatsmark has been appointed as Partner in Wikborg Rein effective as from 2020 when she returns from parental leave.

Ingeborg has been a part of our M&A team since she started her career in Wikborg Rein eight years ago as an associate. She also wrote here master thesis in Wikborg Rein, and worked here as a trainee during her studies.

– I am very excited about having been appointed Partner in Wikborg Rein. Obviously the appointment in itself is a big milestone for me and I very much look forward to taking on the new challenges as a Partner when I return, Ingeborg says.

Ingeborg is 35 years old and holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen, with specialization in Company Law and Stock Exchange and Securities Law from 2011.

Upon her return, she will contribute to further strengthening our already market leading M&A team and the positive development the team has seen over the last years, taking market shares and working for the most attractive clients.

Her key area of expertise is private M&A as well as company- and contract law, and her work comprises legal advice to national and international clients in mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and other M&A transactions. She has long experience with project management on a number of major transactions both in Norway and abroad. Ingeborg also has a key role in digitalisation projects within Wikborg Rein.

– It is important that we stay market leading in the use of digital tools to work as efficiently as possible for our clients, Ingeborg says.
