New Partners

We have the pleasure of announcing that Gry Hvidsten, Hanna Beyer Olaussen and Hanne C. Zimmer are appointed new Partners in Wikborg Rein as of 1 January 2021.

Through these promotions, we strengthen our focus on technology, data protection, intellectual property and IT law and consolidate our position within EU/EEA- and competition law. We wish all three a warm welcome to the partnership!

GHV-200.pngGry Hvidsten is cand. jur from the University of Oslo in 2000 and has been working in Wikborg Rein since 2018. Gry assists both public and private companies in a variety of industries with issues related to data protection, digitalisation and GDPR. In addition to her long experience as a corporate lawyer, Gry has worked for several years as an in-house lawyer in Equinor and for several years in the Legislation Department of the Ministry of Justice as a legal advisor with responsibility for the Personal Data Act. Gry is part of our Technology and Digitalisation team and is head of our firm's Data Protection practice.

HBO-200.pngHanna Beyer Olaussen is cand. jur from the University of Oslo in 2003 and has since then worked as a lawyer, specialising in technology, intellectual property law and IT law. She has long experience within protection and commercialisation of technology. She joins as a Partner in our Technology and Digitalisation team and heads our Intellectual Property and Marketing law team. Hanna is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal500 within technology and intellectual property.

HAZ-200.pngHanne C. Zimmer is cand. jur from the University of Oslo in 2001 and also holds a master's degree from the College of Europe in Natolin. She has worked on legal issues relating to EU/EEA law throughout her career. In addition to her long experience as a lawyer, she has seven years' experience from the EFTA Surveillance Authority's Competition and State Aid Directorate in Brussels. Hanne came to Wikborg Rein in 2017 and is part of our EU/EEA- and Competition law team. Her main areas of expertise are competition law, public procurement and state aid. Hanne was earlier this year ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal500 within competition law.
