Erik Anglevik is an associate at Wikborg Rein's office in Bergen and he is part of the firm's financing practice.
Erik primarily assists with the negotiation and drafting of loan and security documentation relating to ship financing and the financing of other maritime activities (hereunder also export credit financing).
Before joining Wikborg Rein, he was employed by Advokatfirmaet Schjødt AS and was a legal secondee in DNB Bank ASA.

A one year masters degree in International Business and Corporate Law from the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom. I had the following elective courses: (i) «European Union Law», (ii) «International Business Law and Institutions», (iii) «Insolvency Law», (iv) «Corporations in International Business» og (v) «International Investment Law». In addition to the elecvitves above, I wrote a 20 000 word disseration named «Disregarding the Corporate Veil at Common Law: A Sutiable Remedy for Unsecured Creditors of Corporate Groups?». The theme of the dissertation was to examine to what extent it is possible to hold a parent company responsible for the debt of its insolvent subsidiary under English common law. Both the dissertation and the masters degree as a whole were awarded with «Distinction».
