About Oskar Otterstrøm

Oskar works in the litigation group of our Shipping Offshore team.

He assists in litigation and with counselling within several areas of maritime law, working amongst others with questions related to marine insurance, charterparties, limitation funds, as well as general contract law questions.

Oskar has assisted in large several cases before the district court, the court of appeal and in arbitration, as well as in commercial court mediation.

He has particular expertise in restitution of unjust enrichment and has published several articles on this topic in Norwegian. He also has expertise within general average and is the co-author of Karnov's legal commentary to the chapter on general average in the Norwegian Maritime Code.

Oskar has international work experience from the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels, and has a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge.
