About Line

Line Coll is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's Oslo office and is head of the firm's Technology and Digitalisation practice. She is an expert within data protection and digitalization. She has more than 20 years of experience as advisor within data protection, use of new technology and digitalization, both as legal counsel for a wide range of public and private Norwegian and international clients as well as legal counsel at Statoil ASA (Equinor ASA). This gives her a unique practical experience within her area of expertise. Her substantial professional background within data protection and privacy and her interest in IT and digitalization, combined with practical experience within compliance and implementation of data protection compliance as well as within administration of digital assets, provides a highly relevant approach to counselling clients.

Coll assists with easing implementation of and compliance programs within data protection and privacy, including the new requirements pursuant to EU GDPR regulation. She also assists clients in dialogue with The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (DPA), including in relation to supervision and notification of penalty for violations. She has assisted international groups with implementation of BCR (Binding Corporate Rules). Coll also assists in all forms of agreements linked to data protection, as well as IT-contracts and licence agreements.

Line Coll is often used as external lecturer within subjects linked to data protection and digitalization.
