At the Top Among Norway’s Leading Purchasers
Wikborg Rein has achieved a top ranking in this year’s Prospera survey. Among the largest clients in the country, Wikborg Rein has been ranked as the preferred law firm.

Several hundred of Norway's most sophisticated buyers of legal services have been interviewed in the Prospera survey, and the largest consumers of professional legal services have pointed at Wikborg Rein as Norway's premier law firm.
Notably, we have claimed first place in the prestigious Tier 1A category.
The evaluation covers not only legal expertise, but also key qualities such as project management, the ability to handle complex mandates, ethical standards, integrity, and overall service level.
Deeply grateful
Respondents have evaluated firms on criteria such as specialist expertise, project staffing, international experience, pricing, client experience, and more.
It is especially worth noting that Wikborg Rein is ranked number one in international expertise in both Tier 1 and Tier 1A (see fact box), and holds the top spot in project staffing in Tier 1A.

We also achieve top-three rankings in various main categories such as legal skills, specialist competence, strategic partnership, and project management, in addition to first place in "Brand strength" in Tier 1A.
- The Prospera survey is an annual survey conducted by Kantar, providing in-depth feedback on how more than 300 of the country's largest buyers of legal services evaluate Norwegian business law firms. All companies interviewed purchase legal services for at least NOK two million annually.
- Tier 1A includes companies that purchase legal services for more than NOK 7 million annually, with evaluations based on feedback from 138 such companies.
- Tier 1 includes 301 large companies that purchase legal services for more than NOK 2 million annually.
Solid progress
Furthermore, this year’s Prospera survey highlights clear progress in several practice areas. In shipping and offshore, Wikborg Rein is market leading. We also achieve strong results in banking, finance and insurance, restructuring and insolvency, private equity, M&A, dispute resolution, real estate, competition law, oil and gas, renewable energy, and information security.
Within most of these practice areas, Wikborg Rein is rated among the top three in Norway, and in several categories we have improved our position compared to previous years.
