Wikborg Rein named Law Firm of the Year 2026 by IFLR Europe

Wikborg Rein secured two top distinctions at the 2026 IFLR Europe Awards in London. In addition to being named Norway Firm of the Year, our Partner Sigurd Opedal was awarded Norway Lawyer of the Year.

The IFLR Europe Awards recognise teams and individuals who make a significant impact on the transactional market and who have advised on some of the year’s most important transactions.
Cross-border deals
They place particular emphasis on legal innovation in dealmaking and on work that contributes to strengthening the cross-border investment environment.

Named Norway Lawyer of the Year, Sigurd Opedal has been a key adviser on several IFLR-highlighted M&A and private equity transactions.

The ceremony was held at The Londoner Hotel on 11 June, bringing together leading lawyers, law firms, and clients from across Europe.
