Emporia develops and distributes smartphones, tablets and mobile devices for seniors, including a full 5G portfolio, selling around 300,000 units annually across more than 30 countries, with its strongest presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Xplora Technologies AS is a Norway-founded technology company creating smart devices, services and communication solutions for children, youth and seniors. Xplora is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with operations in European markets and North America. The acquisition will further strengthen Xplora's competitive position across European markets. Xplora is listed on Euronext Growth under the ticker XPLRA.
The transaction was announced on 28 May 2026 and is subject to customary completion conditions.
