More about Ekin

Ekin works with privacy and data protection and assists lawyers with advice on a number of privacy-related issues, including transfers of personal data. She participates in several GDPR compliance projects and regularly contributes to transactions. Ekin joined Wikborg Rein after working at the technology law department of a large law firm in Istanbul. She is a qualified lawyer in Turkey. Ekin holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Warwick and a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of Oslo. Her thesis is titled "Interaction between Freedom of Expression and Data Protection: Journalism Exemption and the Right to be Forgotten under the GDPR".
