Elin works with competition law, and has broad experience of handling a range of competition law matters. Prior to joining Wikborg Rein she worked at the Norwegian Competition Authority. Elin advises Norwegian and international clients on all aspects of competition law, both under Norwegian and EU law. She has extensive experience in assisting clients under investigation by the competition authorities in Norway and the EU, as well as damage claims arising in connection with such investigations. She also regularly assist clients with merger control cases before relevant competition authorities, including in cross-border mergers. Additionally, Elin regularly advises clients on general compliance with competition laws, both in connection with the establishment of different types of cooperation, entering into agreements, and with the preparation of general compliance routines. Elin is dual qualified as a Norwegian lawyer and as a Solicitor of England & Wales. She also has a LL.M. from King's College London with the subjects EU competition law, EU state aid law and EU-law.
