Emily's main areas of expertise are competition law and EU/EEA law. She has experience from investigations and compliance work, advising in the establishment of various forms of cooperation between companies, conducting legal review of companies' agreements and business conduct and handling competition notifications of mergers and acquisitions. Furthermore, Emily regularly assists with EU/EEA regulatory issues, such as questions regarding the four freedoms. In 2020, she received the Norwegian Competition Authority's award for best competition law thesis in Norway with the thesis entitled "The Role of Consumer Welfare in EU Competition Policy: How Understanding the Priority Conferred Upon Competition Policy Objectives May Shed Light on Modern Day Inconsistencies."
