More about Håkon

Håkon works mainly as a litigator, primarily within the fields of contract law, the law of tort, property law and competition law. He has acted and advised in inter alia complex disputes regarding property transactions, disputes related to breach of bond agreements, and extensive cross-border competition law disputes (follow-on damages claims). Håkon also assists clients with contract drafting and strategic advice in land-based construction projects and in fabrication to the offshore industry. Before practicing as an attorney, Håkon worked for four years in the Legislation Department at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, where he was involved in preparing central new contract law bills. He has also worked as legal counsel for Aker Solutions AS, a major Norwegian company that engineers and builds energy infrastructure. Additionally, Håkon has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Oslo and has published in leading Norwegian law journals.
