Isak specialises in IT contracts and related regulatory fields. Isak is an experienced technology lawyer and works in particular with technology acquisitions, development projects, outsourcing, licensing and cloud agreements, as well as technology-heavy M&A. He also advises on related areas such as telecoms, security, data rights, AI, marketing law and e-commerce. Isak is ranked as a Rising Star by Legal500 (2021-2025) and described as having "extensive legal knowledge", "good understanding of technology" and "excellent negotiation skills". Isak has also been highlighted as a Promising Talent in the Norwegian business newspaper "Finansavisen". Isak graduated from the University of Oslo, where he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Private Law in his final year. He wrote his master's thesis on automated decisions, which was later published in "EU: Internet Law: Regulation and Enforcement" (Springer 2017). Isak is a regular supervisor and examiner for master's theses. In 2019, he participated in the summer school for IT law at Cambridge.
