Jack primarily acts for clients in contentious matters, acting for clients in both arbitration (under a variety of institutional rules and ad hoc) and litigation, with particular experience acting for clients in relation to complex disputes before the English Commercial and Admiralty Courts. Jack's practice is broad, advising clients on shipping (both wet and dry), international trade and energy and infrastructure matters as well as general commercial matters. On the non-contentious side, he advises clients on matters in relation to the drafting and negotiation of charterparties, shipbuilding contracts and bespoke agreements.
