Jack advises on a broad range of matters relating to International Trade, focusing particularly on commodities and trade compliance.

Jack has acted for commodity traders, energy majors and financial institutions prevalent in the commodities sector in both transactional and contentious matters. 

With respect to trade compliance, Jack's practice covers all aspects of EU/UK sanctions and export control laws. As part of this, Jack has experience dealing with regulatory authorities in relation to both sanctions and export control investigations and licencing procedures. Jack also has experience in dealing with contractual issues and trade-related due diligence in the context of commodity contracts and M&A transactions.
