More about Karoline

Karoline has extensive experience in assisting Norwegian and international asset managers and Private Equity clients within a wide range of matters. She primarily deals with establishment of asset managers, funds (Private Equity and Venture Capital, real estate-funds, infrastructure, private debt, hedge funds, natural resources, etc.) and other investment structures. This includes assisting with and being legal lead on everything from fundraising, preparations of fund agreements and investor negotiations, to ongoing counsel to managers, funds and their portfolio companies on matters forming part of their day to day business. Karoline also assists investors when investing in funds (primaries, secondaries and co-investments), including assessment and negotiations of terms, side letters, etc. Karoline has further assisted on and lead several M&A transactions (particularly for Private Equity funds) and Venture Capital investments within different sectors and strategies. In addition to contract and corporate legal matters she also has experience with ESG (including ESG due diligence) and general corporate compliance. Prior to working at Wikborg Rein, Karoline worked as an associate / senior associate at in the Asset Management and Private Equity practice of BAHR and as a Senior Compliance Officer at Statkraft.
