Kenneth works with an interdisciplinary perspective, with a particular focus on defence and security. This includes advising on, compliance, sanctions, contract law, negotiations, transactions and crisis management. He particularly enjoys working at the intersection between legal and commercial matters. With a legal education from the United States and many years of experience from industries targeting the US market and Commonwealth countries, he has a particular interest in assisting companies in matters involving both industrial partners and public authorities within these legal systems. Before joining Wikborg Rein, Kenneth came from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, where he was responsible for the contractual and compliance-related matters to the Missile Programmes business area. His work included negotiating procurement contracts with authorities in a number of countries (as well as NATO and OCCAR), following up on compliance obligations related to products, deliveries and the supply chain, and acting as a point of contact with Norwegian authorities on issues concerning technology management. Kenneth also has prior experience as in-house counsel within oil and gas, shipping and aquaculture. Kenneth obtained his law degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA.
