More about Margrete

Margrete is part of the firm's Financing team and has a particular interest in company law and contract law, as well as in assisting companies in finding the best legal and practical solutions in each individual case. Margrete holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen (2023), where she wrote her master’s thesis on EEA law and the regulation of temporary agency work. During her studies, she also spent a semester on exchange at Bond University in Australia. She has previous experience from corporate law advisory work, particularly employment law. Before joining Wikborg Rein, she worked as an associate at the law firm Føyen, where she assisted companies with employment law and related matters. Margrete has broad experience including drafting and quality assurance of agreements, assisting in negotiations, and assessing which legal solutions are best suited to the client’s needs. Today, she assists clients with financing matters. This includes, among other things, advising lenders and borrowers in connection with financing transactions, as well as drafting and negotiating loan agreements and security documentation.
