More about Maria

Maria focuses her practice on international arbitration and shipping matters. Prior to joining Wikborg Rein, Maria worked in arbitration practices in London, Paris and Athens representing companies, States and state-owned entities in proceedings across a range of industry sectors. She has experience in arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, LMAA, ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. In addition to her arbitration work, Maria has previously advised States and corporations on public international law and business & human rights matters. Maria is a Solicitor of England & Wales. She is also qualified in Greece (Athens Bar Association) and France (non-registered/practising). She is fluent in Greek and French.
