Pia has broad commercial legal expertise, and works primarily with dispute resolution and procedure. Pia has two years' experience as a judge from a position as deputy judge in Hordaland district court. She has extensive experience in dispute resolution before the ordinary courts. She handles ongoing procedural disputes, injunction and arrest cases, as well as issues related to bankruptcy and recovery. She has assisted Norwegian and international clients in disputes concerning, among other things, shareholder rights, board responsibility, insurance law, international choice of law, employment law, real estate, compensation law, and contract law. She has litigated before district courts and courts of appeal, and has handled appeals to the Supreme Court and ECHR. Pia has a master's degree in jurisprudence from the University of Bergen, where she wrote her master's thesis in company law. At the same university, she has been appointed as an external examiner and supervisor for master's students.
