Partner

Simen is an employment law specialist and focuses on a wide range of matters related to employment law, contracts and pension. His work generally involves providing assistance to Norwegian and international clients within various industries in the private and public sector, research work and dispute resolution. He has long and broad experience with negotiations, litigation before the ordinary courts and arbitration. In spring 2026, he submitted a thesis regarding "Termination agreements in employment relationships" to be considered for the ph.d.-degree at the University in Oslo. 

Simen is recognised for his work as an employment law lawyer in amongst others Chambers, Legal 500 and the annual lawyer rating in the Norwegian business newspaper Finansavisen.

Simen is acknowledged as a leading employment lawyer in Norway by Chambers (Band 2) and Legal 500 (Next Generation Partner). He has also been four times been acknowledged by his peers as the number one "up and coming" employment lawyer in Norway by the annual, comprehensive survey by the Norwegian financial daily "Finansavisen".
