More about Vegard

Vegard works with dispute resolution, transactions and general consulting, and is part of the firm's Shipping Offshore practice. His practice primarily relates to consultancy in relation to transactions and project management. He regularly assists in Norwegian and foreign transactions and project implementations, and has experience with drafting contracts in relation to various collaborative projects, including construction, operation, as well as the purchase and sale of ships and other constructions. He also has basic knowledge of competition law issues that can arise in relation to various forms of project implementation and collaboration. He is particularly interested in contract law and commercial consultancy. Through his studies, he specialized in among other things, Norwegian and international contract and sales law, as well as international arbitration. In addition, he is interested in competition law, and wrote his master's thesis on the need for competition law regulation for acquisitions of non-controlling minority shareholdings. Vegard has a Master's degree in law from the University of Bergen, and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow.
