Arild has extensive experience from transaction work, both as a strategy consultant and as a lawyer. He is also an experienced compliance advisor, supporting both private and public sector clients.
 
Prior to joining Wikborg Rein in 2022, Arild was heading up Schjødt law firm’s Transaction Department. Arild has also led complex international M&A deals as a lawyer from in house positions, including during his time as GC of Aker ASA (2014-2020), and as management consultant in McKinsey & Company (2009-2010). Arild held the position as VP Board & Executive Mngt Attorney in Aker Solutions ASA 2014 - 2020, and as attorney in BAHR law firm from 2006 - 2009.
