Jens Christian assists all types of regulated companies with financial regulatory issues, including the preparation of licence applications and advice on framework conditions, structuring and capital requirements. Jens Christian has extensive experience as head of the legal section for banking and insurance in the Ministry of Finance. There he led the work of drafting bills and regulations and deciding individual cases concerning banks and other credit institutions, insurance companies, insurance intermediaries, loan intermediaries, finance institutions, e-money institutions and payment institutions, and he worked closely with political leadership. Jens Christian was also responsible for EEA processes in the financial market area and has chaired the EFTA working group for financial services. Jens Christian has detailed knowledge about the entire financial regulatory framework, both in Norway and in the EU. Jens Christian is appointed as a member to the Financial Supervisory Authority Appeal Board in the period 2025-2029.
