More about Sandra Melody

Sandra has experience with implementing strategic sustainability and compliance projects in the international business sector. She has worked in a German agri-foods industrial group, where she had operational responsibility for compliance with various sustainability regulations, including the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LKSG), the upcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and SEDEX audits. She has worked on various commercial projects, including compliance-standards in the import of tropical agricultural products, sustainability reporting, anti-greenwashing and a range of certification programmes in the agri-food industry. Sandra consults the ESG and compliance team with a range of due diligence projects relating to sanctions and export controls, as well as wider issues concerning ESG and sustainability. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, where she wrote her thesis on the EU Deforestation Regulation.
