Simon primarily works with litigation and dispute resolution in cases related to contract law and construction law. Additionally, he provides ongoing advice to clients in questions related to these bodies of law. 

Simon holds a master's degree in law from the University of Bergen. He wrote his master's thesis in property law titled "Acquisitive Prescription as a Substitute for Registration of Property Transactions in the Land Register: The Acquirer of Immovable Property's Legal Protection Against Good Faith Purchasers According to Norwegian Law". 

During his studies, Simon also specialized in company law and labour law.
