Madeleine works with corporate law and different types of transactions for Norwegian and international clients, including acquisitions, mergers/demergers, equity investments and other M&A transactions, and is part of the firm's M&A practice. She also has a special interest for sustainable finance, and regularly assists funds and other investment structures with issues connected to sustainability and ESG, especially the SFDR, in addition to general M&A and corporate assistance. 

Madeleine holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Oslo, with specialisation within company law and sustainable finance. As a Research Assistant, she submitted a master thesis on the SFDR's classification of sustainable funds. The thesis was nominated for the University of Oslo's Sustainability Prize, and is published in the Institute of Privat Law's Research Paper Series.
