Karoline assists Norwegian and international asset managers, investors and other industry players with a wide range of tasks. She has extensive experience in establishing new asset managers and funds across various asset classes, including PE/VC, fund-of-funds, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and hedge funds.

She focuses particularly on project management of fundraisings, which includes preparation of fund documentation, negotiations between LPs and GPs, onboarding of investors, etc. Karoline regularly assists professional investors with their investments in and alongside funds (primaries, secondaries, co-/direct investments and CVs), including assessments of main terms, negotiations on agreements and side letters, support in onboarding processes, etc. Karoline also provides ongoing legal advice to managers, funds and portfolio companies in their daily operations, concerning investment schemes, compliance, corporate law and governance, etc.

Additionally, Karoline has led several M&A transactions across various sectors and strategies and has experience in conducting ESG due diligence and general corporate compliance.

Prior to working at Wikborg Rein Karoline worked as a lawyer in the Asset Management and Private Equity practice of BAHR (2016-2021) and as a Senior Compliance Officer at Statkraft (2021-2022).
