About Morten Lund Mathisen

Morten is part of the firm's Shipping Offshore practice where he also heads the Maritime and Offshore Emergency Response Team. He is a maritime and offshore lawyer specialised in international maritime law, particularly related to casualty work, assisting Norwegian and international clients; in particular P&I Clubs, hull underwriters and ship- and offshore unit owners. After initially working in the Oslo office he was heading the Kobe office for five years before moving to England where he headed Wikborg Rein’s London office from 1997 to 2008. Morten is recommended by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 as "Leader in their field" in the category Shipping: Litigation.
