Fanos Theophani strengthens Wikborg Rein’s shipping practice

Wikborg Rein is pleased to announce that Fanos Theophani has joined the firm as a Partner in the London office, effective 1 January 2026.  

Fanos brings deep expertise in traditional dry shipping, advising across the Owner/Charterer market with significant work originating from international P&I clubs.  His market reputation is distinguished by both technical knowledge and a strong client base, including established relationships in Asia.

Prior to joining Wikborg Rein, Fanos was a Partner at Clyde & Co and, in 2019, co-founded the specialist marine trade and commercial litigation firm Preston Turnbull.

Commenting on his move, Fanos said:
