Norway lifts Eritrea sanctions

23.11.2018

Earlier this month, we informed that the UN has lifted its sanctions against Eritrea after nine years as a consequence of the improved political and military situation in the country.

Norway has now followed. On 22 November 2018 the regulatory act that implemented the former UN sanctions against Eritrea into Norwegian law, FOR-2010-03-05-310, was repealed, cf. FOR-2018-11-22-1777.
