Exploring AI for new parents: Insights and innovations for a smarter workday
Curious to learn and want to prepare for embracing AI in the workplace upon your return to work? Worried about AI negatively impacting privacy and data protection? We are pleased to welcome you and your baby to an exciting lecture with Chief Digital Officer Rolf Brustad and Managing Associate Kristina Nesset Kjerstad at Wikborg Rein.

In the lecture, you will get valuable tips on how to use AI as a tool and some pitfalls from a legal viewpoint. Rolf will provide a general overview of AI/LLM (Large Language Models) – history and models. Additionally, he will talk about the journey with Wikborg Rein’s AI tool WR Assist and showcase excellent examples of the tool’s possibilities. Kristina will talk about the use of Microsoft’s AI tools, specifically Microsoft Co-Pilot, in the work place. Her presentation will dive into a few of the issues the tools present from a privacy perspective.
After the lecture, there will be time for mingling and networking.
The event is a collaboration between Wikborg Rein and the network HIVE, a community for parents looking to get inspired professionally and strengthen their network during parental leave. HIVE organises child-friendly and inclusive networking events with relevant topics and speakers.
Practical information:
- We know that it can be hard to plan with a baby. You are welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
- You don’t have to worry about baby noise or interruptions, as we understand that babies have their own schedule and needs. This is what the event is designed for!
- We will supply play mats for the babies and a separate area will be designated for babies sleeping in strollers.
- We will take some pictures during the event, but no images of children’s faces will be made public.
- You can leave the event at any time if you need to attend to your baby or have other commitments.
