Aadne is an expert on international arbitration. He specialises on disputes arising from international agreements for transportation, sale and purchase of natural gas and other commodities. Aadne has advised and represented commercial and state actors within the petroleum and process industries in contract negotiations and disputes for 20 years. The disputes have stemmed from inter alia price reviews, joint ventures, sanctions and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience from institutional, ad-hoc and investment arbitration. Aadne reads and speaks Russian and has particular experience with disputes relating to the former Soviet Union, not least as lead counsel in Ukrainian Naftogaz's multi-billion dollar disputes with Gazprom.
