Vegard's main areas of expertise are competition law and EU/EEA law. He has a Master's degree in law from the University of Bergen, and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, and wrote his master's thesis on the need for competition law regulation for acquisitions of non-controlling minority shareholdings
