Wikborg Rein assisted Gersemi Asset Management with investment firm license
We are proud to announce that we have assisted Gersemi Asset Management AS with obtaining its licence as an investment firm. Gersemi Asset Management is founded and led by Joakim Hannisdahl. Hannisdahl has been ranked the number one shipping equity analyst globally by Bloomberg for several consecutive years.
The licence, issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, permits Gersemi Asset Management to conduct the investment services of portfolio management and distribution.
Wikborg Rein also assists Hannisdahl and Gersemi Asset Management with the ongoing establishment of a long/short shipping hedge fund, domiciled in Ireland. The plan is that Gersemi Asset Management will manage the fund's portfolio on a delegated basis under its license.
