Baptiste is a Partner at Wikborg Rein's London office and is part of the firm's Shipping Offshore practice. He specialises in shipping and trade, focusing mainly on international dispute resolution arising from charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding contracts, memorandums of agreement for the sale and purchase of ships, shipmanagement agreements, commodity and supply contracts, contracts of affreightment, casualties and marine insurance. He assists and represents a wide range of clients in litigation, arbitration and mediation and also has particular expertise in security and enforcement actions.Baptiste has gained practical experience through a secondment at an International Group P&I Club and has handled a wide range of P&I and Defence claims. He also spent time working in the industry.Baptiste speaks fluent French and conversational Dutch.
